Joe

Joe values a varied experience with the goal of meeting the needs of the community.  He graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2009.  He continued his education by completing a residency in orthopedic manual therapy at the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2010.  He became a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor with a rehabilitation focus in 2017.  As the need arose to treat patients with lymphedema and oncology related impairments, he became a certified lymphedema therapist in 2021.  He also incorporates Therapeutic Neuroscience Education to help individuals with fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndromes.

Joe has worked with a variety of orthopedic conditions with patients ranging in age from eight years-old and up.  He has worked with diverse conditions including recovery from motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, surgeries, oncology, and helping individuals with chronic pain syndromes.  Joe believes that patient education is an important element in recovery.  The best path to recovery, he believes, is the one in which the therapist and the patient work together as partners.
