PTSOCS Management's position on masks:
Due to our vulnerable immune suppressed patients, PTSOCS will continue to require that all patients must wear a mask at time of appointment.  This requirement will continue until further notice.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Physical Therapy Orthopedic and Cancer Services (PTOCS) has been part of its local community since 1972.  We are faced with an unparalleled challenge with the COVID-19 outbreak and our clinic remains committed to serving our community.

After careful reflection and consideration from Governor Kate Brown’s March 23, 2020 stay-at-home orders, the position statement from the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section, and the memorandum from The US Department of Homeland Security – we affirm our belief that our clinic practitioners belong to the list of essential infrastructure workers.

We believe it is our ethical and moral obligation to keep our regular clinic hours of operation for the community we serve to play a key role in keeping physical therapy patients out of doctor offices, urgent care clinics, and emergency departments as we brace for the unprecedented burden COVID-19 will impose to the healthcare system.

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Physical Therapy Orthopedic and Cancer Services have always utilized universal precautions infection control measures for patient safety.  In addition to our established infection control guidelines, we have adopted COVID-19 specific infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety that includes temperature checks to all persons (employees, visitors, and patients) who enter our clinic.

We believe in “giving back” to the community – we sincerely thank the selfless clinicians and support staff at PTOCS who continue to support our mission on serving our community.

Thank you for your support.
